Family Driven Faith

I am reading a book right now entitled "Family Driven Faith: Doing what it takes to raise sons and daughters who walk with the God" by Voddie Baucham Jr.

Good friends of ours had read it as a book study and were really blessed by it. I'll share my thoughts when I finish it.

She's One Year Today!

Kate is 1 year old today...we still cannot believe how fast the time has gone by...we're really busy right now with getting ready for the move, etc...just wanted to share this special day with all of you. We are so blessed by this little gift from the Lord! He is SO Good!

Praise be to God!

Bible Study Retreat!

We have the wonderful opportunity to have a Bible Study Retreat this weekend. We are really looking forward to it. Soon Yong is going to be leading it based on a book that Dr. Thomas wrote entitled "Who Am I?"

I think it is really going to go along well with the scripure passage I have been trying to hide my heart. Colossions 3

Here is an excerpt from the book that will explain, what I think will be brought out this weekend.

"Teaching ourselves how to think is the biggest challenge we as Christians face. It is probably the most basic lesson of Christian living. In a world where many attractions are vying for our attention, we need special stimuli to keep our minds on the right subjects."

Please be in pray for all who will attend...that we will prepare our hearts to be teachable, moldable, repentant, and obedient.

He's a Graduate!

Just wanted to share a picture of "Our Graduate". We are rejocing is God's goodness and His tender care. He is Faithful!

Our Time in CA is Coming to an End

Wow! We can not believe it!

Chris just took his last exam, this morning. He will be graduating, Lord willing, this Sunday! We are heading to the airport to pick up his Mama a little later today.

The Lord, so graciously, is allowing us, to see His beautiful Hand of provision...He is so Faithful!

I am so blessed that God allowed me to be my husband's helpmeet!

Lady In Waiting!

Lady in Waiting: Developing Your Love Relationships is one of my favorite books. I wish I would have been told about it when I was a single lady. It focuses on ten qualitites of a godly women that are found in the Book of Ruth. It is definitely not just for single girls, though. It is for all women with a passion for finding God's perspective on their lives and future.

I gleaned alot from it even as a married women, with 2 children at the time. And was given the opportunity 8 years ago, to take a few of the girls in our youth group through it. It was such a wonderful time of seeing them grow in their love for the Lord and "Develop their Love Relationship" with Him. I am looking forward to taking my own daughters through it!
